Arrival
All buses from San Jose to Puerto Viejo stop first in Limon and Cahuita (4 daily; 4hr 30min) and then go onto Sixaola , with the first one leaving San Jose at 6am and the last one at 3.30pm. The last bus back to San Jose goes at 4pm. Taking a bus from San Jose to Limon (5 daily) and changing there is only marginally less expensive, and will increase travelling time by an hour at least. Three buses daily go along the coast to Manzanillo (45min).
