www.embratur.gov.br - Official EMBRATUR site. www.alberguesp.com.br - Information and booking service for the official youth hostel association in Brazil. www.cnh.com.br - Directory of hotels and pousadas, restaurants, travel agents, tour operators and guides throughout Brazil, geared towards the upmarket traveller. Portuguese only. www.cade.com.br/laturag.htm - Useful directory of Brazilian travel agencies, with hundreds of links to agencies' own Web sites. www.stb.com.br - Site run by the Student Travel Bureau, providing information on student discounts, air tickets and cultural exchanges. www.icom.org - An excellent site for links to museum Web sites all over the world, including over 50 museums and public art galleries in Brazil. www.worldsamba.org - This English-language site is a great introduction to samba - and Carnaval in general. Lots of links to samba schools both in Brazil and the rest of the world. www.isfa.com/server/web/futebol/ - The latest Brazilian football results, plus information on players and their teams, and links to most Brazilian teams. Portuguese only. www.candomble.com - Web site in English and Portuguese offering historical and cultural information on the important African-Brazilian religion candomble. www.amazonconservation.org - The "Brazil Nut Home Page" is a quirky site (in English) offering a detailed exploration of the Brazil nut as a means of highlighting Amazon environmental issues.
