The northern beaches , stretching from Manly to Palm Beach, can be reached by regular express bus from Wynyard in the city in about 45 minutes. Bus #190 and #L90 run from Wynyard to Avalon, continuing to Palm Beach via the Pittwater side of the Barrenjoey Peninsula. There are also buses from Manly.
