Haberfield- A federation suburb

Immediately west of Leichhardt, between Parramatta Road and Iron Cove on the Parramatta River, lies the entirely planned suburb of Haberfield . and gables and eaves are other key features. Every Spencer-Stanfield house in Haberfield is different, so you can easily spend a fascinating afternoon wandering its tranquil, leafy streets. You still won't find a pub, but the many Italians who have moved to the area have opened up cafes, restaurants and delis, concentrated on Ramsay Road and Dalhousie Street.

To get there , take bus #436 from Circular Quay or George Street in the city centre, or walk from Ashfield CityRail.
