Adjoining Centennial Park, Moore Park has facilities for tennis, golf, grass-skiing, bowling, cricket and hockey; it is also home to the Sydney Football Stadium and, next door, the venerated institution of the Sydney Cricket Ground . Immediately southeast of the SCG are the Murdoch-owned Fox Studios , constructed at a cost of AU$300 million within the old Showgrounds site, where the Royal Agricultural Society used to hold its annual Royal Easter Show until it moved to new grounds at Homebush Bay . The Professional Studio , opened in May 1998, takes up over half the site and has facilities for both film and television production; films made here so far include The Matrix, Mission Impossible II , Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge , and Episodes I and II of the Star Wars saga.
