Opening Hours and Holidays
Business and post office hours are generally Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Shops and services usually open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and until 9pm on Thursday night. The major retailers and several shopping malls in the city and in tourist areas also open on Sunday between 11am and 5pm, and big supermarkets generally open seven days from 8am until 8 or 9pm, closing around 4pm on Sundays. There are several 24-hour convenience stores/supermarkets in the inner city and suburbs. Tourist attractions - museums, galleries and historic monuments - are open daily, usually between 10am and 5pm, generally only closing on Christmas Day and Good Friday; specific opening hours are given throughout the guide
