The specially commissioned artworks of the Sydney Sculpture Walk - a City of Sydney Council initiative for the 2000 Olympics and the 2001 Centenary of Federation - form a circuit from the Royal Botanic Gardens, through the Domain, Cook and Phillip Park, the streets of the CBD, Hyde Park and East Circular Quay. One of the most striking of the twenty site-specific pieces is Anne Graham's Passage , at the eastern end of Martin Place. At timed intervals, a fine mist emerges from grilles marking the outlines of an early colonial home which once stood here, creating a ghostly house on still days. A map showing the sculpture sites is available from Sydney Town Hall .
