Departure Tax
All passengers departing from Vancouver International Airport must pay an Airport Improvement Fee - $5 if travelling within BC, $10 within North America (including Mexico and Hawaii) and $15 outside North America. The tax is levied as you pass through to the gates and must be paid on the spot with cash or credit
