There are literally dozens of cheap chain restaurants and fast-food joints along and around Clifton Hill. Most of them are unremarkable, but at least the Golden Griddle , in the Quality Inn Fallsway , at 4946 Clifton Hill, has a good basic menu with main courses from as little as $9. Other possibilities include Italian pizzas and snacks at both Mama Mia's , 5719 Victoria Ave at Clifton Hill (tel 905/354-7471), and Big Anthony's , nearby at 5677 Victoria Ave (tel 905/354-9844). The latter is a family-run place owned by a well-known ex-professional wrestler, pictures of whom decorate the windows. For something more distinctive, take lunch or dinner at the Skylon tower's Revolving Dining Room (tel 905/356-2651), a smart and fairly formal restaurant with panoramic views over the Falls. At 236m, the restaurant takes an hour to complete one revolution - a gentle, almost imperceptible ride.
