From Happy Valley-Goose Bay it's also possible in the summer months to drive across to Labrador City and adjacent Wabush via Churchill Falls on the Trans-Labrador Highway (Route 500) - one of the least frequented stretches of road in eastern Canada, so take all necessary supplies, including fuel, with you, as there are no services along the route.
