Taxis and Shuttle Services

Another is take advantage of a variety of small-scale shuttle services that run to various sights. These tend to come and go year by year, but there's always someone prepared to start up a service. The Trailhead Shuttle (tel 852-3898 or 852-8389) leaves from Freewheel Cycles, 618 Patricia St, and runs once or twice daily to a variety of trailheads, including the Valley of the Five Lakes, Maligne Canyon and Overlander (all $10) and Marmot Basin Road ($15). Finally, there's the long-established Maligne Lake Shuttle , run by Maligne Tours, 627 Patricia St (tel 852-3370; 6 departures daily late June to late Sept, 3
