Tourism is the biggest industry in the world and many travelers make
Themselves happy with their will and wish to travel. Time has changed and
in the context of global village the whole world is narrowing in the
prospect of communication. At present anybody can book their trip
inexpensively through local agent with one click from their computer but
still due to the vague with the ideas and by the flow of people by nature
many are still traveling with tour operators based in their own home
country. Market segment is always important in fixing price of any things
but things are expensive with the involvement of third parties and in
tourism it seems must but is easy to avoid.

We are a travel company in Nepal and always willing to make things cheaper
for our clients. We worked extensively and have now our main wish to
boycott the middleman in this business while selling our service. We don’t
ask people to book tours through us but to let people know what the
different between the prices in between companies, locally and globally.

Any tour operators who arranged things globally are also are reliant with
the local agent for any arrangements, they pay very few sum to the local
companies and charge big amount to the clients and force their local agent
to work for them as, if possible voluntarily.

With our experience by working together with many global companies in this
field for more than a 15 years we found that clients are always forced to
pay more and are always with less information about what to expect and
what is its real cost for their due services.
There are many incidents we crossed through while working with global
companies. Once there were a group of people who came to travel through us
and were booked in England with English company, they were in market and
found that how much they were reaped up by their English company. By the
English company we were paid about 250$ per pax and we were entitled to
provide all the service for 10 days but clients were charged 650$ in
England. Directly they made 400$ per clients by simply sending couple of
emails.

Wherever one shall travel he/she shall travel locally with the help of
local companies that is the best way to promote sustainable tourism. While
traveling you are not only the traveler but before that a rational person
so after getting to know the fact that traveling with the global companies
is just nothing more than to be reaped up we sincerely hope that nobody
can afford it.
