Train stations are the best places for changing money ; almost all have a commission-free change counter that is open long hours. You can also change money at banks, which are usually open Mon-Fri 8.30am-4.30pm (small-town branches often close noon-2pm). Some city and tourist resort banks open Sat 9am-4pm, although times vary. Post offices give a similar exchange rate to banks, and ATMs are everywhere.
