If you need medicine, take your prescription to a pharmacist - Apotek in Swedish - which will be open shop hours, although Stockholm has a 24-hour pharmacy. Larger towns operate a rota system of late opening, with the address of the nearest late-opener posted on the door of each pharmacy.
