Arrival and Information
Most visitors will arrive in Las Americas on a free shuttle-bus provided by their tour operator, taking them from the airport directly to the door of their hotel. Independent travellers can make use of the frequent public bus service from the airport, which comes through Los Cristianos and Los Moritos before heading for the bus station , between Central Las Americas, San Eugenio and the motorway. Las Americas has two tourist offices , one for each of the two administrative regions it straddles. The centre and north is covered by the Adeje-region office at Avda de Rafael Puig 1 ( Mon-Fri 9am-1pm; tel 922/750 633), just north of CC Veronicas in central Las Americas, while the south is covered by the Arona-region office near the Parque Santiago II building ( Mon-Fri 9am-1pm & 4-7pm, Sat 9am-1pm; tel 922/797 668, www.arona.org ), a fifteen-minute walk south down the same road. The tourist office in Los Cristianos ( Mon-Fri 9am-3.30pm, Sat 9am-1pm) is downhill from the bus station in the town's cultural centre.
