About as far east as you can go without being in Los Cristianos is the Mare Nostrum Resort, and its Casino Royal is the pride of Las Americas. An oversized pastiche of Mexico's Chichen pyramids, and clearly trying to imitate its larger cousins in Las Vegas, the casino is entered via a Greek-style portal, past a cohort of Roman archers that guard it from above.
