Northwest of the city, many people make the trip out to the Gothic monastery in PEDRALBES , a well-to-do, residential neighbourhood of wide avenues and fancy apartment buildings. Allow yourself the best part of a day and you can include the monastery in a longer route that takes in the Camp Nou stadium, an early Gaudi creation and the ceramics museum housed in the Palau Reial.
