Parks are one of Warsaw's distinctive and most attractive features. South of al. Jerozolimskie lies one of the best stretches of greenery the city has to offer, an unequalled strolling area that begins immediately behind the Muzeum Narodowe with Park Rydza-Smiglego (Rydz-Smigly Park) and continues almost unbroken for 2.5km, passing through Park Ujazdowski (Ujazdowski Park) before arriving at the most luxuriant public space of them all, Park Lazienkowski (Lazienki Park). If you haven't got the time to walk the whole distance, the numerous buses running along al. Ujazdowskie on the parks' western fringes provide a good way of getting around.
