Practicalities
The bus station is a short walk north of the Rynek, on the main Radom road, with regular services to and from Radom and less frequent connections with Kielce. Buses also run to Skarzysko-Kamienna where you can change for the better service to Kielce. Unless you're really desperate, you won't want to stay here for the night: the accommodation options are a basic youth hostel at ul. Kolejowa 26a (tel 048/617 1295); and the Motel Igus , out on the Radom road at ul. Kosciuszki 261 (tel 048/617 4551; 90-120zl/GBP16-22/US$22.50-30). The only restaurants worth speaking of, the Ratuszowa on the Rynek, and the Biesiadia on the way to the Jewish cemetery, are extremely simple.
