Dutch post offices open Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm, plus Sat 8.30am-noon, or later in the big cities. All international post should go into the slot on postboxes marked "Overig e". Public phones are widespread but almost all take phonecards or credit cards only; post offices and VVVs sell phonecards, which can be used in Germany as well. Some train stations have a small number of coin-phones. The operator number is tel 0800/0410 (free); international directory enquiries is on tel 0900/8418 (premium rate). Internet access is easy in most parts of the country, with plenty of cybercafes as well as terminals at public libraries.
