Nightlife and Entertainment
Life in the evenings is centred on Dingle's many pubs , which between them offer traditional music sessions on just about any night you choose during the summer, and at weekends during the winter. An Droichead Beag at the bottom of Main St is probably the best place to start at any time with music most nights year round; O'Flaherty's in Bridge St is well worth checking out too and Maire de Barra's has traditional, folk or ballads just about every night in summer. Special events here include the compulsive Dingle Races in early August, the Dingle Regatta later in the month and Feile na Mara in September, when the entire fleet sails out in procession to the mouth of the harbour to be blessed by the bishop; visit the tourist office for details.
