The Nepstadion district, north across Kerepesi ut, is chiefly notable for the 76,000-seat People's Stadium , where league championship and international football matches, concerts by foreign rock stars and events such as the national dog show are held. Stalinist statues of healthy proletarian youth line the court that separates it from the smaller Kisstadion . The Nepstadion bus station completes this concrete ensemble. All are best reached by red metro (from Keleti Station or downtown) or by trolley bus #75 along Dozsa Gyorgy ut from the edge of the Varosliget.
