Books
Where separate editions exist in the UK and US, publishers are detailed in the form UK publisher; US publisher, unless the publisher is the same in both countries. Where books are published in one country - or Athens - only, this follows the publisher's name. An out-of-print but still highly recommended book is indicated by the abbreviation "o/p"; the recommended Greek-specialist book dealers often have large back-stocks of these. University Press is abbreviated as UP. Books marked * are particularly recommended, many of them part of a "Modern Greek Writers" series, numbering over thirty titles, issued by the Athenian company Kedros Publishers
