There's a single settlement, with beaches and an isolated rural monastery, on both of Hios's satellite isles, but each is surprisingly different from the other, and of course from their large neighbour. Inousses, the nearer and smaller islet, has a daily kaiki or hydrofoil service from Hios Town in season; Psara has less regular services subject to weather conditions (in theory daily from either Hios or Limnia), and is too remote to be done justice on a day-trip
