All roads lead to Platia Syndagmatos - Syndagma (Syntagma) square - so you'll find yourself there sooner or later. Catering to tourism, with a post office (extended hours), American Express, airline and travel offices grouped around - not to mention McDonalds, Arby's Roast Beef and Wendy's - it has convenience but not much else to recommend it.
