The only section of the Norman coast to have any serious delusions of grandeur is the stretch that lies immediately West of the mouth of the Seine. The new Pont de Normandie across the river estuary from Le Havre is starting to make such places as Trouville and Deauville too hectic for comfort, though only Honfleur could be said to have all that much to lose.
