A good Breton creperie; from 50F/?7.62. Le Grandgousier , 7 rue St-Laud (tel 02.41.87.81.47). Serves traditional regional dishes complimented by specially chosen local Anjou wines, which are included in the price of the 89F/?13.57 menu. Closed Wed, Sat lunch & Sun. La Martinique , 75 rue du Mail (tel 02.41.87.22.25). Ignore the tacky decor and enjoy the Martinique cuisine that includes smoked chicken, lamb curry and coconut-milk creme caramel. Set menus start at 90F/?13.72. Papagayo , 44 bd Ayrault (tel 02.41.87.03.35). Low-priced bistro, serving straightforward salad and meat dishes. Closed Sun & Mon evening. Le Petit Machon , 43 rue Bressigny (tel 02.41.86.01.13). Low-priced local wines to go with andouillettes , pigs' trotters and the like. Closed Sun evening & Mon. La Rose d'Or , 21 rue Delage (tel 02.41.88.38.38). Serves delicious salmon and trout; menus from 105F/?16. Closed Sun evening & Mon. Le Soufflerie , 8 place Pilori (tel 02.41.87.45.32). Cafe specializing in souffles (from 50F/?7.62). Closed Sun, Mon & first half Aug. Les Templiers , rue des Deux-Haies, off place Ralliement (tel 02.41.88.33.11). Good food in a pleasant, if slightly formal, atmosphere and, perhaps most importantly, open on Sundays. Menus range from 98F/?14.93 to 165F/?25.15; the 74F/?11.28 lunch Tues-Fri is a real bargain.
