The coast that stretches from the resort town of Dinard to Finistere at the far western end of Brittany is divided into two distinct regions either side of the bay of St-Brieuc . Between Dinard and St-Brieuc are the exposed green headlands of the Cote d'Emeraude , while beyond St-Brieuc, along the Cote de Goelo , the shore becomes more extravagantly indented, with a succession of secluded little bays and an increasing proliferation of huge pink granite boulders seen at their best on the Cote de Granit Rose near Perros-Guirec.
