Elderly expats aside, not too many people come to Estonia for the food. The national cuisine consists mainly of pig by-products teamed with potatoes and other home vegetable-patch produce. Note that you're very likely to encounter indigenous recipes in Estonian restaurants where, in true post-Soviet style, stodgy meat and two veg dishes dominate most menus
