Eating and Drinking
Stratford is used to feeding and watering thousands of visitors, so finding refreshment is never difficult. The problem is that many places are geared to serving the day-tripper as rapidly as possible - not a recipe for much gastronomic delight. That said, there is a scattering of very good restaurants , several of which have been catering to theatre-goers for many years, and a handful of pubs and cafes offering good food, too. The best restaurants are concentrated along Sheep Street, running up from Waterside near the theatres.
