For over two decades now, Manchester has been vying with London as Britain's capital of youth culture . Banks of fly posters advertise what's going on in the numerous clubs ; we've listed the most enduring and you can expect to pay GBP3-15 cover depending on what's on. Manchester has an excellent live music scene, with tickets for local bands usually under GBP5, more like GBP10-15 for someone you've heard of.
