Tube: Old Street. Some way to the northeast of the Barbican lies Bunhill Fields , the main burial ground for Dissenters or Nonconformists (practising Christians who were not members of the Church of England). The three most famous graves have been relocated in the central paved area: William Blake's simple tombstone stands next to a replica of Daniel Defoe's, while opposite lies John Bunyan's recumbent statue.
