Somewhere between a cafe and a club is the institution of the tea dance , a fun and friendly place to try out good old-fashioned partner dancing. Traditionally, tea dancing happens on a Sunday, which means you're unlikely ever to get a serious tea dance habit - although be warned, it has happened.
