An Italianate mansion a mile from the centre, with gardens and panoramic views. Dorm beds (GBP11 each) and double rooms with evening meals also available. Take buses #18 or #418 from the station. White Hart Widcombe Hill tel 01225/313985, . The comfiest of Bath's hostels has basic facilities, though these are due to be expanded. There is a kitchen and a cafe, however, dorms with six to twelve beds with duvets (at GBP12.50 each), and doubles available (GBP30). Clean, central, with lots of room and convenient prices, this place offers good central accommodation, charging GBP11 for dorm beds, GBP16 for singles, GBP28 for doubles, and with reductions for weekly stays; all prices include breakfast.
