Driving and Hitching
Given the excellence of the Danish public transport system, the size of the country and the comparatively high price of petrol, driving isn't really economical unless you're travelling in a group. Danes drive on the right, and there's a speed limit in towns of 50kph, 80kph in open country and 110kph on motorways - speed traps lead to hefty fines. Like the other Scandinavian countries, dipped headlights have to be used during daylight hours. There are random breath tests, and the penalties for drunk driving are severe. When parking unmetered in a town, a parking-time disc must be displayed; you'll be able to get one from a tourist office, police station or bank. The national motoring organization, Forenede Danske Motorejere, operates a breakdown service Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-1pm (tel 45.88.00.25) for AA members; if you find yourself stranded outside those hours or you are not an AA member Dansk Autohjaelp (tel 70.10.80.90) and Falck (tel 44.92.22.22) can be summoned from call boxes by the road - although a standard call-out fee will be charged. Car rental in Denmark starts at around 3000kr a week for a small hatchback with unlimited mileage (you'll need your driving licence). Hitching is illegal on motorways but fairly easy elsewhere.

Tivoli : located in the heart of the city and people have been visiting Tivoli since 1843, which includes a fairytale garden, amusments, concerts, restaurants and different shows which have been attracting tourist.
Dyrehavsbakken : the world’s oldest amusement park located in the large Deerpark north of Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Zoo : the zoo with over 2000 animals from different parts of the world with modern exhibits showing the animals in natural surroundings.
Farup Sommerland : located in the middle of the country in north Jutland between Blokhus and Loekken, it is a fine place for family outing with countless activities.
Bonbon Land : it is an amusement park with dreams come true for the whole family from harum-scarum action rides.
Louisiana Museum of Modern Arts : lacted on the north Zealand coast in a large old park with a view across the Oresund.
The Round Tower : it was built as an observatiry in 1642 and offers a great view in old Copenhagen. It was built with the Trinity Church under Christian IV and above the church is a large room used as a library.
The National Museum : the museum includes collections from the stone age, Vikings Period, Middle ages and modern Danish History.
Den Gamle By : the national openair museum of urban history and culture in the old town is the only three star museum outside Copenhagen.
Aros Aarhus Art Museum : the largest museum in northern Europe.
Randers Regnskov : the Randers Raninforest under the three glass dome amoung animals and uncaptive birds observe the natures drama.
