Tues-Sun 1pm-4pm; free; www.geological-museum.dk . Bus #184, #10 or Nørreport S-Tog. The interesting if rather run-down Geological Museum (Geologisk Museum) has exhibits depicting how geological forces have shaped the Earth's landscape and life, a vast collection of minerals and, most interestingly, a startling collection of meteorites from a major fall thousands of years ago in Cape York, Greenland - some have been cut into enormous slices, creating strange, mirror-like effects. The collection's two biggest meteorites, "Savik" and "Agpalilik", are displayed outside - Savik, the smaller of the two, has pitted sides, the result of generations of Inuits hammering away at it to procure iron for knives and harpoons.
