Housed in an eighteenth-century house on Kronprinsessegade, the Davids Samling Islamic collection is an Aladdin's cave of Persian, Arabian and Indian antiques dating back to the sixth century (it also houses a less noteworthy collection of antique European furniture and ceramics). The well laid-out collection includes everything from delicate embroidered silks through to savage-looking daggers, and there's also an extensive collection of illuminated manuscripts and Korans, dating back to the thirteenth century, from all over the Islamic world.
