Golf
The city boasts a wonderful eighteen-hole course at the Copenhagen Golf Club (tel 39 63 04 83; daily 8am until 30min before sunset; green fees 280kr Mon-Fri, 350kr at weekends, club hire 200kr per day; S-Tog or local train to Klampenborg station, then bus #388) is set in the middle of a deer sanctuary, beautiful woodlands and meadows. It's the oldest club in Scandinavia, and has a friendly atmosphere, along with a restaurant and bar. During the colder winter months try the Copenhagen Indoor Golf Centre at Refshalevej 177b, Christianshavn (tel 32 54 43 32; mid-Sept to mid-Oct Mon-Fri 4-9pm, Sat & Sun noon-5pm; mid-Oct to April Mon & Fri 11am-9pm, Tues-Thurs 11am-10pm, Sat & Sun 9am-7pm; 63-126kr, club hire 30kr; bus #8), where there's a driving range, putting green and a state-of-the-art golf simulator.
