Delicately balanced between Scandinavia proper and mainland Europe, Denmark is a difficult country to pin down. In many ways it shares the characteristics of both regions: it's an EU member, and has prices and drinking laws that are broadly in line with those in the rest of Europe. But Denmark's social policies and its style of government are distinctly Scandinavian: social benefits and the standard of living are high, and its politics are very much that of consensus. Denmark is the easiest Scandinavian country in which to travel, both in terms of cost and distance, but its landscape is the region's least dramatic: very green and flat, largely farmland interrupted by innumerable pretty villages. Apart from a scattering of small islands, three main landmasses make up the country - the islands of Zealand and Funen and the peninsula of Jutland, which extends northwards from Germany. The vast majority of visitors make for Zealand (Sjaelland), and, more specifically, Copenhagen , the country's one large city and an exciting focal point, with a beautiful old centre, a good array of museums and a boisterous nightlife. Zealand's smaller neighbour, Funen (Fyn), has only one positive urban draw in Odense , and otherwise is a sedate place, renowned for its cute villages and the sandy beaches of its fragmented southern coast. Only Jutland (Jylland) is far enough away from Copenhagen to enjoy a truly individual flavour, as well as Denmark's most varied scenery, ranging from soft green hills to desolate heathlands. Arhus and Aalborg are two of the liveliest cities outside the capital.

Agnete og Havmanden : sculpture and fountain in the park Alle avenue near the city hall was created by Johannes Bjerg, who was the sculptor and director of the royal Danish Academy of fine arts.
Tivoli : located in the heart of the city and people have been visiting Tivoli since 1843, which includes a fairytale garden, amusments, concerts, restaurants and different shows which have been attracting tourist.
Dyrehavsbakken : the world’s oldest amusement park located in the large Deerpark north of Copenhagen.
Copenhagen Zoo : the zoo with over 2000 animals from different parts of the world with modern exhibits showing the animals in natural surroundings.
Farup Sommerland : located in the middle of the country in north Jutland between Blokhus and Loekken, it is a fine place for family outing with countless activities.
Bonbon Land : it is an amusement park with dreams come true for the whole family from harum-scarum action rides.
Louisiana Museum of Modern Arts : lacted on the north Zealand coast in a large old park with a view across the Oresund.
The Round Tower : it was built as an observatiry in 1642 and offers a great view in old Copenhagen. It was built with the Trinity Church under Christian IV and above the church is a large room used as a library.
The National Museum : the museum includes collections from the stone age, Vikings Period, Middle ages and modern Danish History.
Den Gamle By : the national openair museum of urban history and culture in the old town is the only three star museum outside Copenhagen.
Aros Aarhus Art Museum : the largest museum in northern Europe.
Randers Regnskov : the Randers Raninforest under the three glass dome amoung animals and uncaptive birds observe the natures drama.
