Eating and Drinking
There's no shortage of places to eat and drink in Koprivshtitsa, with little to choose between the numerous establishments offering good, traditional Bulgarian food. Try Lomeva Kashta , on the main road just north of the main square, with a folksy interior and outdoor seating in the courtyard, Pod Starata Krusha , next to the bus station, or the nearby Chuchura , a small, traditional-style mehana . The Dyado Liben Inn , across the river from the main square, occupies a lovely old house, with a restaurant upstairs and tables outside in the courtyard. The April 20 Complex on the main square harbours a cafe, restaurant, and the occasional lacklustre disco. You could also try the cafe-restaurant at the Dalmatinets hotel, with indoor and outdoor seating. For picnics, there's a fair range of fresh produce on sale at the market south of the bus station (daily except Sun).
