Tryavna is pretty easy to find your way around: turn right out of either the train or bus station , both north of the centre, and by walking straight on you'll pass most of the town's sights along the way. Tryavna's tourist office , just off the main square at Angel Kanchev 22 (Mon-Fri 9am-noon & 2-5pm; tel 0677/2247, smile@mbox.digsys.bg ), sells maps, rents out bikes and organizes accommodation in private rooms (US$9-18-US$18-36) and local hotels . Of the latter, the most central is the family-run Familif , Angel Kanchev 40 (tel 0677/6034 or 4691; US$36-60), which also offers large apartments with TV and fridge (US$50). The Tigara , just uphill at Gorov 7A (tel 0677/2469; US$18-36) is a slightly cheaper option, with ensuite rooms and breakfast. Far superior but slightly further out is the Ralitza , a huge three-star place up a steep hill at ul.Kaleto, and commanding a splendid view over the town (tel 0677/2219 or 2262 or 2279; US$36-60). It has a very good terrace restaurant, as well as a fitness centre, sauna, and, should it take your fancy, a shooting gallery.
