To reach the Musee d'Art Moderne you'll need to use the underground passageway, which leads from the main entrance of the Musees Royaux des Beaux Arts to Level -2 of the yellow area, whose nineteenth-century, mostly Belgian paintings are spread over five small floors - two underground and three above. Another stairway on Level -2 leads down to the six subterranean half-floors that constitute the green area of twentieth-century works. The green area is comparatively small and has an international flavour, with the work of Belgian artists - including Rene Magritte and Paul Delvaux - supplemented by the likes of Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Henry Moore, Miro, Matisse and Francis Bacon.
