Eastern Ixelles radiates out from the petit ring, its busy streets spined by the workaday chaussee d'Ixelles , whose long string of shops and stores meander down to place Fernand Cocq and ultimately place Eugene Flagey . It's the general flavour that appeals hereabouts rather than any specific sight, though there are a few exceptions, most notably the first-rate Musee des Beaux-Arts d'Ixelles , whose forte is modern Belgian art, the good-looking church of St Boniface and - less compellingly - the accumulated objets d'art of the Musee Camille Lemonnier .
