Brussels The Health Of Charles Ii

The Health Of Charles Ii

Philip IV of Spain (1605-65) had no less than fourteen children, but only one of his sons - Charles II (1661-1700) - reached his twenties. Surprise, surprise, this didn't work and Charles died on the first of November, his death leading directly to the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-14).
