Eating, Drinking and Entertainment
There are plenty of good-value restaurants in David, several of which double as nightspots at the weekends. Otherwise, entertainment generally revolves around the city's many nondescript bars and poolhalls, and a few discos - the Brandywine , a block away from Pension Costa Rica on Av 5 Ester, is a current favourite. You can catch the latest Hollywood blockbusters at the modern four-screen cinema next to the Gran Nacional hotel.
