Air-conditioned classrooms; transfer credit is available from US universities. Copan Escuela de Espanol Ixbalanque , a block and a half west of the Parque (tel & fax 651 4432, ixbalan@hn2.com ). Runs a one-week course for US$175 including homestay, twenty hours of tuition and afternoon activities. Guacamaya , three blocks north of the Parque (tel & fax 651 4360, www.guacamaya.com ). Similar fees and courses to the Ixbalanque school. Tegucigalpa Conversa , Av Republica de Brasil 2419, Colonia Palmira (tel 236 5170, fax 236 7420, www.worldwide.edu/honduras/conversa ). Professionally run school with flexible study programmes - twenty hours of tution plus homestay costs US$185 per week.
