Banks Banco Atlantida on the Parque will change travellers' cheques, cash dollars and quetzales (at poor rates) and give advances on Visa cards. Book exchange Justo a Tiempo, two blocks southwest of the plaza (Mon-Sat 7.30am-5.30pm); the friendly American owner also serves great cakes and coffee. Immigration The migracion is on the west side of the Parque next to the museum (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm). Language schools Copan is an excellent place to study, with two Spanish schools to choose between, though it's a more expensive learning centre than Guatemala - four hours of classes plus full family-based accommodation and meals costs US$175 a week. Guacamaya (tel & fax 651 4360, www.guacamaya.com ), three blocks north of the plaza, has the better reputation of the two schools, though Ixbalanque (tel & fax 651 4432, ixbalan@hn2.com ), a block and a half west of the plaza, is also worth considering. Laundry Justo a Tiempo, two blocks southwest of the plaza (Mon-Sat 7.30am-5.30pm). Shuttle buses Contact Monarcas (tel 651 4361), two blocks north of the plaza, for direct shuttles to Guatemala City and Antigua (US$25 per person). Tour operators Go Native Tours (tel 651 4432, ixbalanqu@hn2.com ), a block and a half west of the plaza, and Yaragua Tours (tel & fax 651 4050, yaraguatours@hotmail.com ), half a block east of the plaza, both offer similarly priced tours. Trips include visits to the hot springs (US$10 per person), horse-riding (from US$15 for 3hr), the Finca El Cisne coffee farm (US$30), El Rubi waterfall (US$15), and a spectacular local cave, the Cueva el Boqueron (US$70). Xukpi Tours (tel 651 4435) is an excellent specialist bird-watching outfit run by the very knowledgeable guide Jorge Barraza.
