Guanaja is amazing - - - beautiful reefs and beaches, lovely people. Be prepared for sandfleas or you'll be frustrated. Try 7% or 9% deet products (OFF or Cutters) - - that's all you need. Also note that the hike to the waterfall just became much more easy. A local hotel owner recently groomed the trail and although it's still a bit rough, it's much easier to follow. Don't miss the waterfall!
