Eating
The best comedor in town is Irene's , just off the main square, with several others in the plaza itself. The Maya-Inca on 5 C is owned by a friendly Peruvian/Guatemalan couple and serves delicious Peruvian and local dishes, though the portions are small, while there are reasonable pizzas at Cesar's on 2 Av opposite Bancafe. In addition, there's always something to eat at the market. For entertainment, most of the raving in town is courtesy of Nebaj's burgeoning neo-Pentecostal church, with four-hour services involving much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
