The Inguat tourist office (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm; tel 331 1333, fax 331 8893) is at 7 Av 1-17, Zona 4. At the information desk on the ground floor you can buy a half-decent map of the country and city, and there's always someone around who speaks English. For detailed hiking maps, go to the Instituto Geografico Militar (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm), Av las Americas 5-76, Zona 13.
